BIOGRAPHY



Evguenïi PONOMAREV was born on August 16, 1976 in Mineralnye Vody (Russia, Stavropol region).



From a young age he was interested in drawing and painting.



Evguenii was born in a family where everyone loved the Russian and Soviet artists paintings such as Repin, Aivazovsky, Vereshchagin, Maltsev, Krivonogov. His first steps as an artist began under his father's supervision - also an artist.



Interested in the publishing business after five years of art school from 1986 to 1991 he obtained his BAC professional photographer printing works in 1994.



Raised with Russian traditions, he served his country like every honorable man of noble spirit, Evguenïi PONOMAREV participated with parachute troops in 1994.



After two years of military service where he continues perfecting his technique as a painter, Evguenïi engaged in the Foreign Legion in 1997. He was a member of the Parachute Regiment 2° to Calvi in Corsica.



With numerous works, which are now exhibited in various museums and military regiments in France, Evguenïi PONOMAREV is assigned to the General Staff (Aubagne) and works as an illustrator in the service, publishing monthly issues of "Kepi Blanc Magazine" in the Foreign Legion. He is the main painter of the Foreign Legion.



In 2003 he obtained a contract with the publishing house "HATCHET" to illustrate the collection of the figurines of the Foreign Legion.



As a complete artist, Evguenïi has painted various subjects (usually by military occupation, but not EXCLUSIVELY) and applies many different painting techniques. He participated in various fairs and exhibitions and has won numerous awards.



Since 1st January 2012, He becomes an official painter of the armies.
